Our Name and Date collection is individually designed and handmade for every order. For this reason it takes six to eight weeks from order date to delivery, however we believe that a piece this special is worth the extra wait. Select the precious metal of your choice: either sterling silver, gold vermeil or a solid gold name necklace when making your order.

The History Of Name Jewellery
In recent years a gold chain with name has become synonymous with Carrie Bradshaw’s character on Sex And The City, however its origin dates back much further. Personalised jewellery first became popular during Egyptian times when Pharaohs would engraved their jewellery to represent their identities.
More recently, Victorian women wore engraved brooches featuring their names, however the name necklace as we know it today arrived much later. It first entered pop culture in the late 1980s, beloved by New York’s hip hop scene, and later entered cult mainstream status when adopted by artists including Rihanna and Beyonce. Most recently the name pendant has be worn to celebrate 90s nostalgia on TV shows including Euphoria.
