Introducing Marine Tanguy as the latest muse from our London Portrait series: where we bring you the women we admire from all over the city we love and call home.

Founder of one of the Art sector’s leading talent agency MtArt (one of the UK’s fastest growing companies), Marine appeared on Forbe’s ‘30 Under 30’ list back in 2018.

Growing up on a small French island with no connections in the art industry, Marine dropped out of university after two years, and incredibly was running a gallery in Soho by the age of 21.

At 26 Marine founded her own agency to disrupt the art industry: MtArt. With a vision informed by her socialist background, MtArt connects artistic talent with brands, cultural projects and collectors. Creating an international community of art lovers and collectors, the agency works with global organisations and cities as well as the world’s biggest brands, including Apple. Dior and even The World Cup.

Alongside running her agency, today Marine is a writer and keynote speaker on contemporary art and art investment - her talks include two TEDx talks on transforming cities with art and the effect of social media on our minds. She recently published her first book with Penguin: ‘The Visual Detox - How To Consume Media Without Letting it Consume You’.
