MERCHANDISING ADMIN ASSISTANT
Otiumberg is a British demi-fine jewellery brand founded in 2016 by sisters, Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg. Job Description
As the Merchandising Admin Assistant you are a vital member of the team responsible for managing all the stock and product Info, placing orders with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery, keeping all systems up to date with the correct Info and making sure each product has the maximum opportunity to sell.
You will be directly Involved In helping the business plan for future product development and overall business strategy. The role Is full time, working In our Holland Park Office.
Role Responsibilities
Merchandising
- Daily, weekly & ad hoc sales reporting
- Monitor & update critical path via constant communication with our suppliers
- Place orders and ensure on time delivery or manage delays when required
- Set up and maintenance of all product Information In several systems and spreadsheets, ensuring they always show the most up to date Information
- Contribute to analysis and reporting with Head of Commercial to review product, sales, stock levels, margin & profitability
- Work with Operations team to plan and manage stocktakes
- Liaising with Suppliers and Operations Team to ensure a smooth-running supply chain
- Regular communication with all members of the team on new product launches, stock management and sales performance
- Planning for new product launches, ensuring stock Is delivered In line with the Marketing Calendar
- Become an expert on our Merchandising system - Cin7
- Organise wear testing of new designs
- Place Made-To-Order and Personalised Items with the suppliers
- Management of pricing, promotions and markdowns
- Returning of QC failed pieces to suppliers
- Managing pre-order stock on e.com
Wholesale
- Support Wholesale Manager with placing orders, chasing supplier.
- Sending photography and product details to wholesale partners
- Support Wholesale Manager with Wholesale sales analysis to monitor performance. Suggest replenishment orders and RTVs with key accounts when required
- Creation of Wholesale line sheets
- Set up new accounts on various systems
Ecommerce
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all products on the website
- Re-merchandising all Category pages as required to ensure a commercial selection that Is visually pleasing
- Management of photography for online use
- Ad hoc website admin as required to Improve customer journey, conversions and SEO
Ad Hoc
- Cover Customer Service during holidays and peak sales periods
- Assist Operations Team as required
- Identify areas of improvements and review, develop and implement new administrative procedures
- Assisting with any other ad hoc admin required by the business
- Communicate any Issues to the wider team
Required Skills
- An Interest In numbers, trends and an analytical thinker
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and re-prioritise as necessary
- Strong IT skills and confident with learning new systems
- Highly organised but adaptable to change
- Enthusiasm to do a good job
Experience Is beneficial but not essential. We are happy to train the right, enthusiastic candidate for this role
