Our home away from home, our Father fell in love with the Spanish island of Menorca when we were children and we spent our childhood summers on the island.
A relaxing reprise from hectic summers in London, Menorca is a special getaway where Christie now loves to spend time with her own three children, and we still return regularly to make happy memories together in our family home.
Both of us also got married in Menorca (Rosanna only a year ago!) meaning the island holds very special significance for us.
How to spend your days in Menorca...
Menorca is all about enjoying a laidback lifestyle. We love to start the day with a coffee and custard Ensaimada (a local baked treat) down by the harbour in Mahon.
Head to the local fish market in Mahon to buy beautiful fresh fish for the barbecue, or from Mahon port you can reach the nearby island of Isla del Rei, where Christie got married. There you can visit interesting exhibitions at the Hauser and Wirth gallery, and enjoy lunch under the shady trees at newly opened restaurant Cantina.
Binifadet is one of our favourite restaurants in Menorca, or for dinner and cocktails with friends Experimental is a fun spot. The gin and tonic made with local Menorcan gin and peppercorns is so delicious.
To see beautiful views take a walk around the Cami de Cavalls, offering a wonderful opportunity to see the island's coastline, or head to the Cuitadella port and pick a table to watch the world go by.

Rosanna's wedding day on the island of Menorca
The best time to visit...
We love visiting the island during May or October - you can sit on the beach all day without the midsummer heat and crowds of the peak summer season.

Our Packing List
Menorca is our escape from the office so dressing for comfort and simplicity is key. Light linen pieces are perfect for hot days, and accessories to elevate minimalistic outfits and dress up a look from day to night.
This is where statement gold hoops really come into their own, complementing simply swept back hair beautifully. The Gold Chunky Hoops have been a staple of Otiumberg for years, or for something a little more statement the Chaos, Saint Raphael or Laguna hoops are a beautiful choice.
We also love to wear our bracelets and anklets in the sunshine; a wonderful opportunity to adorn bare limbs with precious metals and gemstones that glint in the sunshine.
