Otiumberg, noun. From the Latin, ‘otium’, or leisure time devoted to an artistic endeavours and enjoyment. And ‘berg’, from our founders’ surname.

Founded in 2016, the London-based sisters Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg launched Otiumberg from their shared London home.

Alongside their day jobs in luxury fashion and branding, the sisters spent their evenings and weekends honing their vision for the collection.

To this day the collection remains rooted in a very personal reflection and the sisters continue to drive the brand forward side by side without external investment.

Arriving to the industry without prior experience or training, the sisters took a new approach to jewellery crafting across fine and demi-fine materials to present a collection that evoked an understated confidence and beauty.

Shortly after launch, the collection was picked up by leading luxury retailers including Matches Fashion, Browns and Harvey Nichols and was featured in titles such as the Times, Telegraph, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Most recently the collection has been spotted on celebrities including Emma Stone and Anne Hathaway.

Otiumberg's minimalist aesthetic has a conscious approach, utilising only responsible and high-quality materials in the purest artisan tradition, which the sisters highly respect and value. An approach that ultimately lead to B Corp certification in 2023.

In 2022 the pair opened a by-appointment London Bridge boutique and showroom which welcomes private clients and international buyers.

The Otiumberg sisters’ characteristically understated aesthetic now reaches, inspires and empowers a global community who share an emotional connection with jewellery as means of self-expression and a way to feel good.
