Otiumberg is a British fine and contemporary jewellery brand founded in 2016 by sisters, Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg. Job Description
Otiumberg are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant with a particular passion for omni-channel marketing with an analytical approach and organised manner. This role will support the Digital Marketing Manager in developing and delivering the overall marketing strategy for Otiumberg. Otiumberg is in a very exciting time of fast growth online, and at the London boutique. The role Is full time, working in our Holland Park flagship.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING
• Weekly & ad hoc reporting on omni-channel marketing performance to support the Digital Marketing Manager and push through data driven decision
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager on an email strategy that engages customers and is optimised to maximise click through and conversion
• Own the day-to-day implementation of marketing emails, with guidance and copywriting support from the Marketing Manager and Graphics intern
• Implement and update paid marketing campaigns across Pinterest, Meta and Tik Tok.
• Constant review of competitors on Facebook Ad Library etc
• Responsible for weekly communication and updates to our affiliate network
• Relationship building with key affiliate publishers
• Support on photoshoots, capturing behind the scenes content, providing feedback on required shots and ad hoc assistance
• Regular communication with all members of the team on new product launches, key product focuses and upcoming marketing ideas
• Support on the organisation and roll out of brand activations and events across the calendar year
SOCIAL MEDIA
• Manage all social channels (primarily Instagram & TikTok)
• Oversee scheduling tool and draft captions in line with Brand Guidelines
• Keeping ahead of social trends and developments
• Supporting the creation of content specific for each social channel
• Updating Pinterest in line with launches and supporting on paid activity within the platform
• Implementing and testing new social strategies
• Stock management during all content creation and shoots
• Responding to social media comments and enquiries and passing these to the team as required
• Supporting social community gifting strategy & responding to DMs
E-COMMERCE
• Manage regular updates of the site ensuring it is updated with any new content
• Manage the critical path for new development and note weekly actions
• Optimise the site for SEO best practices and regular new content, in particular journal posts
• Re-merchandising all Category pages as required to ensure a commercial selection that is visually pleasing
• Management and organisation of all photography for online use with support of the graphics intern
• Ad hoc website admin as required to improve customer journey, conversions, and SEO
• Work with Merchandising team to plan for new product launches, ensuring everything is ready in line with the Marketing Calendar
• Landing pages to support performance marketing
AD HOC
• Cover Customer Service during holidays and peak sales periods
• Assist other team members and departments as required
• Identify areas of improvements and review, develop, and implement new administrative procedures
• Assisting with any other ad hoc admin required by the business
• Communicate any issues to the wider team
REQUIRED SKILLS
• A passion and strong interest in social media
• Creative with an eye for engaging content
• Attention to detail and strong proof-reading skills
• Organised and comfortable working under tight timelines with quick turnarounds and the ability to re-prioritise as necessary
• Excellent communication skills, confident in interacting cross functionally
• You’ll demonstrate an ambitious attitude, acting as a proactive team member who asks questions and looks for ways to improve current activities
• Experience working on brand social channels would be advantageous
• Experience with Photoshop or Canva would be advantageous
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills and confident with learning new systems
Experience is beneficial but not essential. We are happy to train the right, enthusiastic candidate for this role
